As a born communicator, Eli is known for his ability to tackle complex topics and make them clear in writing, presentations, training material and marketing collateral.
Well known for his dynamic lecturing, Eli holds a Master’s of Science from Johns Hopkins University and patents in the fields of digital TV and data structure methodologies. During his 12 year tenure at NDS Technologies he served as Documentation Manager, Project Manager and Product Marketing Manager. While at NDS Eli pioneered the company’s interactive TV product in both technical and marketing roles, including marketing initiatives for Value@TV, which had over $15 million in sales. Eli has worked with most of the major media companies, including BSKYB, DIRECTV, QVC, Foxtel and OpenTV.
Shirley Denkberg, VP - Project Management
With over 20 years of experience in the hi-tech market, Shirley Denkberg brings to JBS her understanding and skills as a programmer, technical writer, and manager of a technical documentation team. Shirley started her career as a computer programmer and spent 5 years as a Systems Analyst working for the US Navy. Changing her path to technical communication was a natural progression from her programming career. Shirley’s academic training and professional experience enabled her to lead and manage the development of complex technical documentation.
Shirley has been involved in all phases of the documentation life cycle for audiences ranging from the very technical to the non-technical. Providing clear, concise, accurate documentation for technical applications enables her client’s customers to realize their products' full value from first time through expert use.
Shirley’s 13 years at IFN Solutions-Live Linx as a writer, project manager, and documentation manager is evidence of her dedication and success. Her long and successful working relationships with her clients is based on her ability to meet (or exceed) her clients’ expectations. Whether it be writing, scheduling, or managing projects, Shirley always strives to provide her clients with the best. Her clients recognize this trait and appreciate her efforts.
Rachel Greenhut, VP - Professional Services
Before entering the field of technical communications Rachel worked in programming for ten years. She specialized in defense applications, real-time control systems, and business applications. She has managed documentation projects spanning a wide range of subjects including: Programming guides, security, networking, data-communications, cellular, IP telephony, APIs, database applications, software kernels, and Java.
An experienced mega-technical writer and project manager, Rachel worked for over 15 years at IFN Solutions - Live Linx. Her responsibilities included managing teams of technical writers for large projects, analyzing customer needs, building and following milestone schedules, and close coordination with customers. In addition she is responsible for quality control, implementing a complete QA system for all documents passing through the company.
Dr. Marc Luria, CTO
Dr. Marc Luria has had a long and varied career in high-tech in Israel. After finishing his doctorate in Computer Science at UC Berkeley he taught Computer Science at the Technion. Dr. Luria has worked as VP of Software and Engineering at a number of Israeli High Tech companies. At NDS Technologies, Dr. Luria was Program Manager of all DIRECTV projects. He has experience in both project management and development.
Dr. Luria is particularly talented at serving as bridge between technical staff and business management, since he can speak to both groups who often don't understand each other.
At JBS Dr. Luria supervises Special Projects and acts as Senior Systems Analyst for technically challenging documentation projects.
